The Seekonk River wraps East Point on three sides. Providence sits across the water; the East Side — Brown, RISD, Wayland Square — is a ten-minute drive over the bridge. For most of the last century this was working industrial land at Phillipsdale.
Churchill & Banks spent years remediating and master-planning it into something else: a 27-acre waterfront neighborhood that will hold 392 homes at full buildout — condominiums, townhomes and, now, two apartment buildings.
